Due to fire in the trauma centre of Moradabad district hospital, CT scans are not being done. Patients will have to face trouble for one more week. The hospital administration says that the CT scan machine will be operated after battery and UPS are arranged.
An emergency door will also be built in the trauma center so that patients do not face any problems in case of emergency. On July 4, at 10 am, 32 batteries kept in the server room of the CT scan machine of the trauma center exploded. Due to this, a fire broke out in the building.
The fire brigade staff had to break the doors and windows to extinguish the fire. However, the patients admitted in the trauma centre were immediately evacuated. In the trauma centre, CT scans of 10 to 12 patients are done every day, but after the fire, CT scans have been closed for three days.
CMS Dr. Sangeeta Gupta said that the windows and doors of the trauma center have been repaired. The building has turned black due to the fire. Therefore, painting work is being done. An engineer will come from Lucknow next week to check the CT scan machine.
Therefore, it will take a week for the machine to start functioning. An emergency door will also be built in the building. It will be connected to the MRI room.
