Cow smuggler injured in encounter with police in Moradabad

On Monday night, in Pakbara police station area, the police had an encounter with the accused of cow slaughter. During this, two accused were injured in police retaliatory action. The police arrested both the accused and admitted them to the district hospital for treatment, while one accused managed to escape.
Pakbada police station in-charge Satendra Singh, Nagar Panchayat Pakbada outpost in-charge Kuldeep Tomar and Growth Center outpost in-charge Pramod Soni were checking on the Dingarpur-Pakbada road with their team. At around 10:30 pm, three youths were seen coming on a bike.
On seeing the police, the bike riders tried to run away. During this, the bike of the accused slipped. Leaving the bike, all three started running towards Lalpur Gangwari village. On receiving information about this, the SOG team also reached the spot.
When the police surrounded them, the accused started firing at the police team but the police personnel narrowly escaped. The police also fired back. Two criminals were injured in this firing. During interrogation, the injured revealed their names as Junaid and Aamir.
Both are residents of Payanti Kala police station Didauli (Amroha). Both said that their partner who escaped is Shaukeen. He is a resident of Mansoorpur village of Asmoli area of Sambhal district. SP Crime Subhash Chandra Gangwar said that Junaid and Aamir who were injured by the bullets are accused of cow slaughter.
Both the accused have been shot in the legs. The police have recovered two pistols, six cartridges and a bike from the accused. They form a gang and slaughter animals and smuggle meat. The third accomplice of the accused is also being searched.
