In Katghar police station area, a youth mixed intoxicants in milk and made a teenage girl drink it. When she became unconscious, the accused raped her. On the complaint of the victim’s brother, the police registered a report and arrested the accused.

A youth living in Katghar police station informed the police that Afsar Ali, a resident of Vanshi Mustakam village in Mandi Dhanora police station area of Amroha, lived with him as a tenant. On July 22, his 16-year-old sister was alone in the house. During this time, the accused Afsar Ali entered the house.
The accused made the girl drink milk mixed with some intoxicating substance, due to which she became unconscious. After this the accused raped the victim. When the victim protested after regaining consciousness, the accused insulted her by using casteist words and ran away threatening to kill her.
When the victim returned to her brother’s house, she narrated her ordeal. Katghar police station in-charge Sanjay Kumar said that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against the accused Afsar Ali under rape, threat to kill, POCSO Act and SC-ST Act. The accused has also been arrested.
FIR filed against library operator for raping a student
The police have filed a case against library operator Yunus for raping a student resident of a village in Bhagatpur area. The student said that she had passed the 12th class examination this year. She had taken admission in a library operating in the village to prepare for the upcoming examinations.
It is alleged that the library operator made a video of her doing obscene acts. The accused raped her by threatening to make the video viral. On the complaint of the student, the police registered a report and started investigation.
