More than 1700 new cases of corona in Delhi, positivity rate also crossed 28%, 6 died


Coronavirus Cases In Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 1767 new cases of corona virus have been registered in Delhi. Along with this, 6 people have died. The positivity rate was 28.63 percent. On the other hand, 1427 patients were cured of Corona on Wednesday. Now the number of active corona patients in Delhi has increased to 6046. So far, the total number of corona cases in Delhi has reached 2027548, while the total death toll has reached 26578.

Earlier on Tuesday, 1537 new cases of corona were reported in Delhi. The positivity rate was recorded at 26.54 percent. During this, 5 people also died. Corona was not the primary cause of death of three of these people. According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Delhi Health Department, a total of 5791 tests were done on Corona on Tuesday.

PM’s Principal Secretary held a meeting

across the country on the other side corona virus Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister PK Mishra on Wednesday held a review meeting to monitor the preparedness level and public health response amid rising COVID-19 cases. According to sources with knowledge of the matter, PK Mishra advised officials to ensure operational readiness of hospital infrastructure up to the sub-district level.

Kovid called for following proper behavior

PK Mishra also highlighted the need to regularly check the COVID-19 situation and update the advisories to guide the states. PK Mishra also called upon the people to continue with the ongoing time-tested strategy of Test-Track-Treat-Vaccination and follow Covid appropriate behaviour.

Corona cases are increasing in these states

During the meeting, a presentation was made by Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, where he provided an overview of the global COVID-19 situation. He highlighted that India is witnessing a rapid rise in the number of Covid-19 cases with majority of cases in eight states, Kerala, Delhi, Maharashtra, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Rajasthan.
