More than 6 women burnt after coming in contact with high tension wire

The incident took place in Mohanpur village under Bakhri police station area. All the injured women were immediately sent by ambulance to Bakhri PHC for treatment, from where they were referred to Begusarai for better treatment. It is being told that at around 2:00 pm, a satsang program of Shiv Charcha was going on in Mohanpur village, when the 11000 volt high tension wire passing over the satsang venue melted and fell down. As soon as the electric wire fell, there was screams all around.

People told that the electricity department has been informed by Bakheer police station about the high tension wire falling and the woman getting burnt. Bakhri police, who reached the spot after receiving the information, reached the spot in an ambulance and took the injured to PHC, where they were sent to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for better treatment.

All the injured women were identified as Vibha Devi 40, Sushila Devi 35, Chandrabhushan Choudhary Mohanpur, Rani Kumari 20, father Chandrabhushan Choudhary Mohanpur, Gayatri Devi 65, Parmeshwar Mahato Udaipur, Ranju Devi 45 Niranjan Choudhary Mohanpur, Kalavati 70, Guddu Mahato Udaipur, Uma Devi 60, Gauri Sahu Gangarhau, Ahilya Devi 60 Late Mahendra Thakur Budhaura.
