And why is this day called Fool’s Day?

April Fools Day is coming soon. It is celebrated every year on the first date of April. Loh: On this day, we try to fool those who know us well. Some make fool of people with some false excuse or by doing some kind of prank. When the person in front becomes a fool then it is called April Fool. This year April Fools’ Day is falling on Saturday. But do you know how it started?

History is hundreds of years old
April Fools’ Day started hundreds of years ago, not today. It is said to have been started in 1686 by UK biographer John Aubery. They used to celebrate it as Fool’s Holy Day. A few years later, in 1698, people were gathered in the Tower of London by spreading rumours. He was told that from there he would be able to see the lion dying from the world. People came and nothing happened. The lie was exposed in the newspaper the next day. Since then, on the first of April in the world, the process of fooling people started by telling lies.

The lie of poisoning people is also prevalent
Let us tell you that in France, people were threatened by lying that there was poison in their food. At first people disliked this joke. But after some time it was associated with good luck. It is believed in Greece that if you have been made an April Fool, then you will have good luck throughout the year. On the other hand, it is considered auspicious to rain on the first of April in America. However, now with the advent of social media, sharing of pranks and false news has been banned on April 1st. If it is celebrated in a fun way then it is fun. But if its level increases, then it can cause many types of damage.
