Firozabad’s Khairgarh police station has arrested two sons who had conspired to murder their mother and shot her on May 28 to implicate other relatives. Their maternal uncle is still absconding. The three had hatched a conspiracy to usurp the farm. The police have sent both the accused to jail. The search for the absconding accused is on.

Indravati, a resident of Kondar village of Fariha police station, had lent one lakh rupees to her cousin Bablu, a resident of Gudaun in Linepar, some time ago. On May 28, the woman went to Bablu’s house on a bike with her son Jitendra to demand the money. While returning, the woman was shot. The woman had filed a case against Bablu and his two sons, but when the police investigated the case and checked the CCTV cameras, the whole story changed.

Actually the matter turned out to be that Indravati’s two sons Jitendra and Somesh alias Bitu wanted to grab their uncle’s share of 17 bigha land, which is in the name of uncle’s daughter Mamta in village Kondar. Both of them, along with their maternal uncle Mukhram, a resident of Nagla Nathua, Jasrana, made a plan to trap uncle’s daughter’s husband and sons. On May 28, Jitendra took his mother Indravati on the pretext of getting her medicine. After this, Bitu and Mukhram fired at the woman in a planned manner, due to which the bullet hit her hand.

Police station in-charge Gyanendra Solanki said that both the accused have been sent to jail. The search for the third accused is on. A pistol, cartridges and a bike have been recovered from them.
