In Motihari, Bihar, a speeding uncontrolled car hit a bike rider, due to which the middle-aged bike rider died on the spot. Angered by this incident, the villagers blocked NH 28 by setting fire to the road and started demanding compensation. After receiving information about the incident, Muffasil police station reached the spot and got the jam resolved by convincing the villagers. Then the body was sent to the hospital for post-mortem. The incident took place near Awadhesh Chowk of Muffasil police station area.
At the same time, Hari Sahni, brother of the deceased’s wife, told that my brother-in-law, Jamadar Sahni (48), resident of Nandpur of Muffasil police station area, was going on his bike. Meanwhile, a speeding car hit me, due to which my brother-in-law died on the spot. Angered by this incident, we blocked the road for some time. Then the jam ended after persuasion by the police.
Hari Sahni further told that my brother-in-law has four daughters and one son. Married with three daughters and a son. The son lives with his wife in his in-laws’ house. Jamadar Sahani used to meet his household expenses by selling fish at Kuari Devi Chowk. The youngest daughter’s wedding was in April and we were busy preparing for it.
Meanwhile, Muffasil Police Station Head Manish Kumar said that a middle-aged man has died after being hit by a car. Angered by this, the family members blocked the road for some time. The jam has been ended after making them understand. At the same time, both the injured passengers in the car have been admitted for treatment, whose condition remains critical.
