MP News: Cyber crime cases are increasing rapidly in the country and state. Fraudsters have found a new way of online fraud. Thugs are trying to defraud people in the name of digital arrest. Fraudsters are duping the victims by pretending to be government officials and citing parcels containing illegal goods, drugs, fake passports or other prohibited items. The increasing incidents of digital arrest have worried the governments. Governments are making citizens aware about cyber crime.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has once again warned people to beware of thugs. Posting on X, he said that cyber thugs are adopting various tactics to spread panic. He asked the Collectors and SPs of all the districts to take strict action on the complaints of online fraud.
The Chief Minister said that awareness should also be spread rapidly in the districts against digital arrest. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi also talked about digital arrest in the program “Mann Ki Baat”. He had said to make people aware that there is no provision like digital arrest. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the government and police administration are also continuously running awareness campaigns for the safety of citizens.
Cyber thugs are adopting various tactics to spread panic among citizens. We are directing the Collectors and SPs of all the districts to take strict action against online fraudsters and also to intensively spread awareness against digital arrest in their districts.

CM Mohan Yadav’s stance tough on cyber fraud
It is noteworthy that cases of cyber fraud are increasing rapidly in Madhya Pradesh also. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has asked the Collector and SP to take strict action. In November, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav suddenly visited the State Cyber Police Headquarters in Bhopal and discussed the prevention of cyber crime with the officials.
