The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared MonkeyPox a global emergency. Now news is coming that the first monkeypox patient has been found in neighboring country Pakistan on Thursday. This person had recently come to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia.
First case of monkeypox found in Pakistan
Officials of the Pakistani Federal Health Ministry said that the person who was reported to have monkeypox was a resident of Dir city and is currently living in Mardan. Officials said that the infected person was diagnosed with monkeypox after returning from Saudi Arabia on August 3.
Which people are more at risk from this disease?
