mukesh khanna tv shaktiman slams kalki 2898 ad makers tried to change mythology ask government to form committee

Mukesh Khanna Slams Kalki 2898 AD: Prabhas starrer film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is earning a lot at the box office. The film is getting mixed response from the audience. Meanwhile, TV’s Shaktimaan and Bollywood actor Mukesh Khanna has become angry at the makers after watching ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. He has even accused the makers of trying to change the mythology.

Mukesh Khanna has posted a long video on his YouTube channel talking about ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. In this, he praised the acting of the film’s stars, especially Amitabh Bachchan. After this, he said- ‘One thing that is bothering me is that they have tried to change the mythology in the film.’

Questions raised on the scene of Lord Krishna and Ashwatthama
Mukesh further says- ‘In the beginning you see that Lord Krishna comes and takes the mani from Ashwatthama’s forehead, he tells that he will be my protector in the future. But Lord Krishna never said this. I want to ask the makers, how can you assume to know more than Vyas Muni, who said that what is not present here cannot exist anywhere else? Was it not Krishna who removed Ashwatthama’s ‘mani’?’

‘I have been reading Mahabharata since childhood…’
The actor did not stop here, he further said- ‘I have been reading Mahabharata since childhood. I can tell you that it was Draupadi who instructed that her ‘mani’ should be removed, because she had killed all her five children. I am telling this story in so much detail because I do not understand how Krishna can order Ashwatthama to protect him in the future as Kalki? How can a powerful person like Krishna ask a person like Ashwatthama to protect him?’

‘Those who are at Liberty Lee are not worthy of forgiveness’
Mukesh Khanna further questioned the level of liberty taken by the makers. He said- ‘The liberty you have taken is not forgivable. We feel that South film makers respect our traditions more, but what happened now?’

Mukesh Khanna’s appeal to the Indian government
After this, Mukesh Khanna also made a special appeal to the Government of India. He said- ‘I would like to tell the government that a committee should be formed which can oversee the films being made on Ramayana, Geeta and other mythological topics and can control the script of the film if needed.’
