Mumbai Rape Case: A 21-year-old girl in Mumbai has alleged that a social media friend drugged her and raped her. The victim gave information about this incident on her Instagram handle and said that this was the most painful experience of her life. The girl also said that even after 12 days of the incident, the accused was not arrested.
According to India Today report, the 21-year-old girl shared her story on Instagram and said, “She had a conversation with a friend on Instagram about a party, after which she went with him to that party. “First of all, I went to a place to have drinks where I met some other people.”
‘And forced to drink alcohol’
The victim further said, “After this both of them went to another restaurant, where the accused pressured her to drink more alcohol. She blacked out after consuming alcohol. After a few tequila shots, I got drunk and started feeling alone at that party. Then he insisted on drinking more, after that I don’t remember what happened next.”
When the girl regained consciousness…
The girl alleged, “When I regained consciousness, I saw that he was raping me. I tried to stop him but he did not agree. He also slapped me three times in anger, after which I became scared and frightened.” The girl claimed that the alleged incident took place at the residence of the accused’s friend. The woman said that when she called for help, the accused threatened her.
Complaint lodged with police
He informed his parents about this incident after which a complaint was lodged with the police. The girl claimed that the accused later apologized for the incident. “Twelve days have passed and he has not been arrested. He has applied for anticipatory bail,” the post said.
