Mumbai University Faculty Recruitment 2024: Mumbai University has invited applications from eligible candidates for several posts. Through this recruitment drive, candidates will be recruited for a total of 152 faculty posts. Their details are as follows. There are 4 posts of Dean of Faculties, 21 posts of Professor, 54 posts of Associate Professor or Deputy Librarian and 73 posts of Assistant Professor or Assistant Librarian.

Who can apply
The eligibility and age limit for applying is different according to the post. It would be better to check its details on the notice given on the website. We have also shared the direct link of the notice here. Broadly, candidates who have done PhD in the relevant subject and have some years of experience can apply. At least 15 years of experience is required for the post of Dean of Faculty. Also, there should be at least 55 percent marks in Masters. Along with this, it is necessary for the candidate to know Marathi.
How will the selection be done
Candidates will have to give interview for selection on these posts. The applications sent by them will be shortlisted first and eligible candidates will be called for interview. You can also check its details from the notice.
What is the Fee and Salary
To apply, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 500, this is for general category candidates. Whereas for reserved category candidates, the fee has been fixed at Rs 250. Payment can be made online only.
After getting selected, the salary is also according to the post. The entry pay for the post of Dean of Faculties and Professor is Rs 1,44,200. The entry pay for the post of Associate Professor and Deputy Librarian is Rs 1,31,400. The entry pay for the rest of the posts is Rs 57,700.
