A case of theft of Rs 8.5 lakh has come to light in a bike showroom in Munger, Bihar. The stolen money was kept to be given to the dealer and the bank. After getting information about the matter, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. However, CCTV cameras are not installed in the bike showroom. This matter pertains to TVS bike showroom located in Asarganj market.
According to the information, thieves entered the TVS showroom located in Asarganj market late last night and stole cash worth Rs 8.5 lakh. When the showroom owner opened the shutter of the showroom with his staff in the morning, he saw that various counters for keeping money were broken. As soon as information about this incident was received, Asarganj police station reached the spot. After this, the police detained three laborers and a mason and took them to the police station. Where the four accused are being interrogated by the police.
At the same time, TVS showroom owners Brajesh Kumar and Suman Kumar told that on Thursday they had closed the showroom and gone to a wedding ceremony with their family. When I came to open the showroom with an employee at 9.30 am on Friday morning, I saw that the locks of the cash counter and cupboard inside the showroom and other counters were broken. He told that the thieves have stolen about eight and a half lakh rupees in cash. He told that the thieves entered from the back side of the showroom and carried out the theft.
Here, as soon as information about the incident was received, Asarganj police station incharge Vipin Kumar Singh reached the showroom. Where she took information about the theft incident from the showroom owner and detained three laborers and a mason working in the showroom and took them to the police station for questioning. The police station chief said that the owner of the showroom has filed an application regarding the theft incident. Some people are being detained and interrogated in the case. He said that due to absence of CCTV installed in the showroom, the thieves are not being detected.
