Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya released in theatres on June 7. Sharvari, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, Sathyaraj, Suhas Joshi and many others play lead roles in Munjya. The film is the fourth film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe and revolves around the legend of Munjya inspired by Indian folklore and mythology.
Talking about the story of the film, a boy wants to marry a girl who is seven years older than him but when his mother comes to know about this, she gets his head shaved. The boy starts doing black magic and during this he dies and after dying he becomes Brahmarakshas. After this many horror incidents happen in the film.
