The accused attacked a person and set him on fire in Noorpur village of Tappal police station. After that another person was attacked, due to which he also died. After killing the two, the accused also died. There was mourning in a village after three deaths. Police arrived and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
On May 8, there was an outcry in Noorpur village when after the murder of two people, the dead body of the accused was also found. According to the information received, at around 6.30 in the morning, an unknown person attacked Lalaram son of Sohanlal, aged 55, with a stick who was watering the moong field. When Lalaram became unconscious, the accused took out a matchbox from Lalaram’s pocket, took off his clothes and burnt Lalaram alive. Family members were told that only Lalaram’s legs were saved in the incident. After which he was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
The women going to collect fodder in the morning saw that the accused was naked. He hit Gafar son Zafar, aged around 52 years, who was watering the fields, on the head with a stick, due to which he was badly injured. Gafar later died. After the incident, there was chaos in the entire village. The villagers who reached the spot after receiving information about the incident caught the unknown person. Villagers told that during this time that unknown person also died. After the incident, the police station filled the bodies of both the deceased and sent them for post-mortem. The police is investigating the case.
It was told by the villagers that the unknown person appeared to be mentally retarded. He is said to be from Mehandipur village near Hamidpur. Earlier he used to play Kabaddi game.
