In Katihar, criminals shot dead two people, including her husband, a ward councilor of the Municipal Corporation. His driver has been injured in this incident. The incident took place in Hariganj Chowk of Nagar police station area. The deceased have been identified as councilor’s husband Chhotu Poddar (35) and colleague Pritam Chaudhary (32). The driver of the vehicle, Udip Poddar, is seriously injured. Driver Udip Poddar was shot in the waist.
Criminals surrounded and suddenly started firing
Regarding the incident, police say that ward councilor husband Chhotu Poddar was returning from the court with Pritam Chaudhary. Then, near Hariganj Chowk of Nagar police station area, five criminals riding a bike suddenly surrounded his car and started firing indiscriminately at the car. In this incident, Chhotu Poddar and Pritam Chaudhary died on the spot.

Regarding the incident, local people said that near Hariganj Chowk, five criminals riding a bike surrounded Chhotu Poddar’s car and suddenly started firing at him. As soon as the bullet was fired, there was an atmosphere of chaos. As soon as the criminals ran away, the local people ran there and hurriedly took the three bleeding injured to the hospital, where the doctors declared Chhotu Poddar and Pritam Chaudhary dead. Regarding the incident, injured driver Udip Poddar says that the criminals had fired about 20 to 25 rounds. As soon as information about the incident was received, former Deputy Chief Minister Tarkishore Prasad reached the hospital. He said that now there is Jungle Raj Part-3 in Bihar. He said that now no one from the common man to the public representative is safe in Bihar.
