Unani doctor Mubarik, a resident of Baghpat, conspired to pretend to be dead to avoid repayment of loan after watching Crime Patrol. He bought an old car a month ago. After this, he found a young man of similar height and build. The young man was given alcohol and burnt alive in the car.
During interrogation, murderer Mubarik told that six months ago he had purchased two cars and two bikes on finance. Insurance worth Rs 5 lakh and personal loan of Rs 10 lakh was taken from the bank. Started paying GST also.
Mubarik took nine lakh rupees from his neighbor Masood alias Leelu to get cheap land. Apart from this, lakhs of rupees were also taken from other people. He incurred a debt of around Rs 20 to 25 lakh. Now he started looking for a way so that he would not have to repay the loan. He got this method from the Crime Patrol serial.

Doctor bought car a month ago
He watched an episode about ten times to ensure there were no mistakes in the plan. To put the plan into action he now needed a car and a dead body. So that he can prove himself dead. A month ago he bought an old Maruti 800 car for Rs 26 thousand. Now he was looking for a dead body whose physique was similar to his. Even after searching extensively he could not find the body. Meanwhile he reached his brother-in-law’s factory. There he saw Sonu who was similar to him in height and physique. Sonu had come from Yamunanagar and was living in Mohalla Habibgarh. The doctor became friends with Sonu.

The car was set on fire by pouring petrol
On the evening of 22nd December, he called Sonu at the dhaba. From there he bought liquor from a shop on Mandi Samiti Road. After this, Sonu sat in his old car and went to the canal track near Bijopura. Both of them drank alcohol there. During this, intoxicating pills were put in Sonu’s glass, due to which he became unconscious. The doctor removed the chain from his neck. After this, he poured petrol in the car, set it on fire and ran away from there, but due to his mistake, he was caught.

Made a plan so that the police would not find out
SP City Abhimanyu Manglik said that he made such a plan that the police could not find out about the murder. Plan was made to burn the young man alive in the car. After this he searched for a place where there were neither cameras nor much movement of people. He thought that if he set the car on fire at night then people would not be aware and the work would also be done easily. He did recce of many places. The police searched more than 60 CCTVs from the crime scene to the factory of the murderer’s brother-in-law.

Mubarik left Asara 20 years ago
Mubarik, who burnt a young man alive in a car in Saharanpur to avoid repayment of loan, is a resident of Asara village, who left the village twenty years ago. Mubarik used to come to the village every four-five months and go back after meeting his family. Mubarik, the youngest son among the three sons of Shamim of Asara village, used to run a clinic in Habibgarh, Saharanpur. Shamim also started living with Mubarik many years ago.

SP City Abhimanyu Manglik said that when the car number was traced, it turned out to be from Kanpur. The car was sold eight times. Murder accused Dr. Mubarik bought it for the eighth time. He has a clinic in his locality Habibgarh, which he was running for many years. The murderer is saying that he has a degree in Unani.
