What are the things needed to make puffed rice upma?

4 green chilies
curry leaves
1 onion
2 tbsp grated carrot
1 tsp finely chopped coriander
2 tbsp peanuts
2 cups puffed rice
1 whole red chili
1 tsp coconut flakes or grated coconut
1 garlic clove
1/4 black salt
half teaspoon turmeric
3 tbsp chana dal
Oil

How to make puffed rice

To make puffed rice upma, first soak the puffed rice in water for 1 minute. After that, squeeze it out of the water and put it in a plate. Now add 1 whole red chili, 1 teaspoon coconut powder, 1 garlic clove, 1/4th black salt and 3 teaspoon gram dal in the mixer and grind it.

Now take a pan or wok and put 3 spoons of oil in it. Add onion and gram dal and fry it. Now add curry leaves and green chillies to it. Mix half a teaspoon of turmeric in it. Add peanuts and carrots to it and mix. Fry it for 3 minutes. Lastly add puffed rice, coriander leaves and black salt. Add the powder made after grinding in the mixie and mix it. Serve it.
