According to the information, about six armed miscreants entered a branch of PNB near the flyover near Kanti Chowk of Kanti police station area. After this the criminals started creating chaos there with the intention of looting. During this time, when the guard present at the spot protested, they looted his weapon and shot him. After receiving information about this incident, the police reached the spot and are busy investigating the matter.
The incident of firing in the bank created a sensation in the area. This incident is being reported from the side of Kanti NH 28 four lane of Kanti police station area. However, after the robbery in the incident failed, all the criminals absconded. During this time, the guard showed courage and saved the bank from robbery.
Meanwhile, DSP West Abhishek Anand, ASP Town Bhanu Pratap, City SP Arvind Pratap Singh, Kanti police station and DIU team reached the spot and started investigating the case. At present, the police is busy taking further action and arresting the robber on the basis of CCTV camera footage. The injured guard has been sent to SKMCH for treatment, where his treatment is ongoing.
