In Muzaffarpur, a young man first trapped a girl in his love trap. Then he deceived her by promising marriage and made a relationship with her for five years. After that he left her. Then after the girl got married to someone else, the young man was not satisfied, so he deceived her in-laws and got the marriage broken. After that, the said young man trapped her again in his love trap and now he has absconded leaving the girl. The incident is from a village in Jajuar police station area of Katra block area of the district. The victim is now pleading for justice.
When the victim, a resident of Muzaffarpur district, did not get social justice, she desperately sought help from the police. In the complaint made to the police, the victim said that five years ago she came in contact with a 22-year-old youth named Mohammad Fazlur Rehman living in the neighborhood. He lured me into a love trap by talking sweetly and this continued for the next five years. My family got wind of this, after which the family talked about marriage. But the boy and his family refused to marry. Then my father got me married to another boy. Everything went well for a year. Meanwhile, the accused came again and misled the people of my in-laws’ side and got my marriage broken.
The victim said that as soon as my marriage broke, the accused contacted me again and made false promises of marriage and again made physical relations with me. During this, he took me to Darbhanga city and then ran away leaving me alone. Somehow I returned home and told the whole thing to my family. After that, the youth’s family members refused to go to the police station and said that they will settle the matter by taking money. When my family refused, they threatened me, after which I have requested the police for help. Not only this, but I am being told to manage the family by taking money.
After receiving the complaint, Katra police station is investigating the entire matter. SHO Katra Kumar Abhishek said that information has been given by a victim in Jajuar police station area that she was sexually exploited on the pretext of marriage and then was threatened and not married. Police has registered an FIR on the application of the victim in the case. Action is being taken to arrest the accused.
