The havoc of speed in Muzaffarpur district is not showing any sign of stopping. The latest case is of the main road between Muzaffarpur and Pusa in Mushahari area of the district. Here, Pier resident and former head Rajeev Ranjan died after being hit by an unknown vehicle.
The bike of the former head of Rampurdayal Panchayat of Muraul block, who was returning home after working in the city late at night, was crushed by an unknown vehicle. After the accident, the unknown vehicle fled from the spot. The deceased chief was the head of Rampurdayal Panchayat from 2017 to 2021. His bike got damaged after being hit by an unknown vehicle. After knowing about this incident, a crowd of local people gathered at the spot.
The entire incident took place near Narauli Koili, one kilometer east of Narauli Chowk in Mushari police station area of the district. Local people informed the police about the incident. Police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it to the medical college for post-mortem. The police investigating the case are trying to identify the unknown vehicle. After the incident, there was an uproar among the family members and well-wishers of the deceased Rajeev Ranjan.
