A shocking case has come to light from Muzaffarpur, where a cunning criminal first called and harassed the victim. When the matter did not work out, he sent a picture of a pistol and said that he would kill the entire family. This case is being reported from Meenapur police station area of the district. At present, the police have started investigating the case. Police said that he is harassing deliberately. He may also be a member of a fraud gang.
According to the information, two days ago an unknown person called a worker working in an Anganwadi center located in Meenapur police station area from a wrong number. After that when the victim asked the reason and wanted to know the name, he started threatening. He started saying that talk to me. After that the victim blocked his number. Then suddenly after the number was disconnected, the miscreant sent a picture of him holding a pistol in his hand. He also said that talk or else he will kill the whole family. After that the scared and frightened worker has lodged a complaint in the police station.
It is being told that when the Anganwadi centre assistant, troubled by the wrong number, blocked the number, the cunning criminal adopted another method. He sent a picture of himself holding a pistol on the victim’s mobile number’s WhatsApp. Then he said that talk or else he will kill the whole family.
In this entire matter, SHO Santosh Kumar of Meenapur police station said that a complaint has been lodged by an Anganwadi worker regarding harassment and threats from a number. The matter is being investigated. Prima facie, the case seems to be of harassment by a fraud. The help of the technical team is being taken.
