Chinese citizen Li Jiaqi, who was serving a sentence for illegally entering India, died in the hospital during treatment. After his death on Tuesday morning, the district administration has started further action. Accused Li had attempted suicide in the Central Jail. It is worth noting that Chinese citizen Li Jiaqi had entered India illegally without a visa. Recently, he was admitted to SKMCH Medical College for treatment in a critical condition. The case has been confirmed by SKMCH Superintendent Dr. Vibha Kumari.
He was arrested in Muzaffarpur under suspicious circumstances
According to the information, a Chinese citizen Li Jiaqi (63) who was caught on June 5 near Laxmi Chowk in Brahmpura police station area of Muzaffarpur district was a resident of Kangshang County in Shandong Province of China. He was arrested late in the evening by Brahmpura police station in the case of illegally entering the country. After that, the next day on June 6, he tried to commit suicide by injuring himself with the glass of his glasses in the jail. After that, he was hurriedly admitted to SKMCH hospital for treatment. Where he died today. Central Jail Superintendent Brijesh Singh Mehta has also confirmed this matter.
The psychiatrist had expressed the fear of danger from his own country
In the whole case, SKMCH Medical College Superintendent Dr. Vibha Kumari said that Chinese citizen Li Jiaqi was admitted to the hospital a few days ago. She said that there were some deep wounds on his body. He had attempted suicide by severely cutting his face, neck and private parts with the glass of his glasses. Today he died during treatment.
The doctor said that Li Jiaqi was admitted to the ICU of SKMCH in a critical condition. He was also being monitored by the hospital doctor and psychiatrist. He had expressed the fear of something untoward being done by his own country. Further action is being taken in this matter.
