However, Reuters could not immediately verify the 15-page document and it was not clear when such a law would go into effect.
Violence may increase in Myanmar
The concern of experts has increased regarding the alleged news related to gun license in Myanmar. They believe that allowing civilians to carry guns will empower pro-junta groups and only serve to increase violence. Daily conflicts between the military and the armed resistance forces escalate. According to the report, the military government will have the right to import and sell guns and ammunition licensed by the Ministry of Defense.
