Myanmar Military Ruled Govt To Allow Loyal Civilians Carry Licensed Firearms Guns May Empower Pro Junta Groups Violence

Myanmar To Allow Civilians To Carry Licensed Gun: In Myanmar, now common people can also get permission to keep licensed guns. Military-ruled Myanmar is set to allow citizens to apply for a license to own firearms, according to media reports and an unverified government document. On what condition license gun in Myanmar?

The leaked document related to Gun License in Myanmar was reviewed by several other media institutions including Reuters. According to the alleged report, the government has set criteria for those seeking gun license. Conditions found in the document include an age limit of 18, in addition to a loyalty requirement. However, Reuters could not immediately verify the 15-page document and it was not clear when such a law would go into effect.
