There was a sensation on Monday morning when the dead body of a youth was found in a roadside corn field in Nalanda, Bihar. The matter is near Salempur Mohalla of Sohsarai police station area. The deceased was identified as Pramod Kumar (24), son of Rajesh Paswan, resident of Shringar Hot under Sohsarai police station area.
The young man was missing for two days
Pramod Kumar’s uncle Ranjit Paswan told that only a few days ago his nephew had come home from Delhi. He had left the house two days ago saying some work. After this he did not return home. A lot of searching was done, but his whereabouts were not found anywhere. During investigation this morning, it was found that a dead body was found in a roadside corn field on the way to Salempur. When he went there, he identified the body as that of Pramod Kumar.

The uncle of the deceased said that looking at the dead body, it seemed that someone had beaten him, due to which he died. There are injury marks at many places on the body and the eye is also out. As soon as information about the incident was received, the family reached Sadar Hospital. Where they started crying and screaming after seeing the dead body. Pramod was the only light in the house.
Sohsarai police station chief Rajmani said that information was received from passersby that a dead body was lying in a corn field on the roadside. Looking at the dead body at the spot, it appears that he was murdered somewhere else and the body was brought and thrown here. During investigation, it was revealed that the youth was missing since two days. There has been an incident of assault with a young man. The police have taken possession of the body and have started the process of conducting post-mortem. Further action will be taken upon receipt of the application. At present the reason for the murder is not clear. The police have been involved in the investigation of the case.
