Namo train ticket booking through IRCTC big relief for passengers


Namo Train Ticket: There is good news for passengers about the country’s first regional train which has been renamed as Namo. Now passengers can also book tickets for Namo train through IRCTC. Tickets for Namo Bharat trains can now be booked on IRCTC platform. This will save passengers from standing in queues and their most difficult task will become easy.

Agreement made for the convenience of passengers

National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) have signed this agreement to improve the travel experience for the passengers of Namo Bharat trains on Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor under the ‘One India-One Ticket’ initiative. This ticket will be valid for 4 days around the travel date. In this way, the government is fully prepared to make your journey smooth.

The Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project being built by NCRTC in NCR is a new and high-speed comfortable passenger service connecting regional centers in NCR. Currently this train is being operated on Sahibabad-Modinagar North section. Work is going on to connect other cities to Delhi. The sole purpose of this agreement is to provide fast and comfortable travel experience to the passengers, making it easier for the passengers to use both Indian Railways and RRTS services.

This much tax will be charged and this is how you will get refund

Namo Bharat Train ticket fare will be available on IRCTC platform along with IRCTC convenience fee (Rs 5 + taxes). It can be easily booked using online payment methods like UPI, net banking or Paytm. In case of cancellation of ticket, the full RRTS fare will be refunded to the users. However, IRCTC convenience fee, payment gateway charges and related taxes will not be refunded.

You will be able to book easily and get entry

Users can easily scan their RRTS QR code at the station entrance using ERS or mobile app to enter and travel as per the booked ticket. Namo Bharat train tickets can be easily booked through IRCTC platform. After booking the train ticket, if there is a nearby RRTS station then a popup will notify the user to book RRTS ticket.
