Jaya Bachchan: Navya Naveli Nanda, granddaughter of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, remains in the news because of her chat show ‘What the Hell Navya’. Recently, in the latest episode of this show, the food habits of the Bachchan family were discussed. In the show, Navya narrated an interesting anecdote related to her cooking.
‘Will you kill us?’
In the second season of ‘What the Hell Navya’, Navya Naveli told that some members in her family are named after dishes. Navya also told that she likes spicy food. Once due to this affair, he had made his grandmother Jaya Bachchan and brother Agastya Nanda cry.
Recalling that incident, Navya said, ‘One day I thought that I would make pasta for my grandmother and brother and both of them agreed. So I went back and made him pasta with garlic and chilli, I put so much chilli in it that he started crying while eating it.
Some dishes in the Bachchan family are named after people.
Talking about her cooking, Navya further said, ‘Both of them were saying that will you kill us? There’s a lot of chili in this pasta’. Apart from this, Navya told that some dishes in the Bachchan family are also named after people. I like Nani Maa’s Khichdi, which is made in Bengali style, very much.
Navya further told that the name of the person in her house who is an expert in making the dish is named after that person. Like Abhishek Bachchan makes good mutton curry, so his name is Abhishek Mutton Curry. When Shweta Nanda makes pasta, she is named Shweta Pasta.
