Nawazuddin Siddiqui On Bollywood: Famous Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will soon be seen in the film ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’. This film of Nawazuddin is ready for release. Currently, he is busy promoting it. Meanwhile, the actor gave an interview to news agency ANI about his experience of working in this film and Bollywood.
In another interview, Nawazuddin made a big statement on Bollywood. The actor clearly said that he has no expectations from Bollywood. He said that he had no expectations from Bollywood in the past and will never have any in the future. The actor also said that the shooting of ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ took place in a peaceful environment and he enjoyed it a lot.
The film ‘Rautu Ka Raaj’ is based on the picturesque village of Rautu Ki Beli in Uttarakhand. Nawazuddin will be seen in the role of a policeman in this film. His character’s name is Deepak Negi. The Bollywood actor said in his interview, “I liked the concept of the film and enjoyed shooting in a peaceful environment.”
Nawazuddin’s co-actor said- celebrated Diwali like a family
Nawazuddin was joined in the interview by his co-actor Rajesh Kumar. He told ANI, “I made many memories. We celebrated Diwali there as a family for 23-25 days. When we started shooting, after 4-5 days, it was Diwali. We created chaos in the jungle for 25 days. When we watch a film, we remember the day we went for the shoot and how we performed. I remember the night sequences.”
Nawazuddin said that there was no pressure on him during the shooting. According to the actor, “There is no need to take any pressure. Take your work seriously, there is no need to take yourself seriously… When you are doing a scene, you get to know the capacity of an actor.”
Nawazuddin praised Rajesh Kumar
Nawazuddin also praised his co-actor Rajesh Kumar. The actor said, “On TV, his image was that of a comedy actor but inside him there is a different kind of person. He has spontaneity…he does everything while being in character.” In response, Rajesh said, “There has always been mutual respect for Nawaz sir.”
Nawazuddin said- I have no expectations from Bollywood
In an interview given to Film Companion, Nawazuddin said about Bollywood, “I had no expectations from Bollywood in the past and I will not have any in the future either. I do not have any special expectations from Bollywood… Yes, I have faith in regional cinema, individual directors, producers or those who are working alone and then when their work comes, it is visible that I have expectations from them.”
When will ‘Rautu Ka Raaj’ be released?
Nawazuddin’s film ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’ will not be released in theatres but on OTT. The trailer of this film has been released. This film will stream on Zee5 from June 28.
