Neelam said, “My journey has been like a yo-yo…you know, I saw a big start in the 80s and 90s, then, you know, I left the industry.
And then I started my own business. I started my family jewelery business and then I made a comeback with ‘Fabulous Lives’. It was incredible. I am very fortunate to have got this opportunity. So, for this short of my journey, let me just say that it has been a roller coaster ride. I have also seen ups and downs. I’ve seen everything.”
What is Neelam Kothari doing after leaving the industry?
Let us tell you that while staying away from the film industry, Neelam started her family’s jewelery business and made her mark as a successful businesswoman. Then surprising everyone, four years ago, she made a comeback on screen after a long time with the reality show ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’.
Neelam further added, “To be honest… I left the industry because I felt that my shelf life was over. And honestly, when I turned 50, I became very relaxed, that’s it. I used to go to the office and come back home and do the responsibilities of a mother, being a wife and being a working mother, and suddenly, you know, I am back, you know, with a bang.. .So this shows that age is just a number.”
Neelam Latest Project
Neelam had taken a break from acting when she was at the peak of her career.
