NEET Paper Leak Case CBI File Charge Sheet Against 21 Accused In Patna Court Know Whole Story


NEET Paper Leak Case: In the country’s famous NEET paper leak case, the central investigating agency CBI had filed a charge sheet in the Patna court last Saturday (October 05). In this the agency made 21 people accused. This chargesheet has been filed under sections 120B, 108, 201, 380, 409, 411, 420 IPC, sections 13(2), 13(1)(a) and Prevention of Corruption Act 1988.

The third chargesheet is of more than 5500 pages, in which CBI has included statements of 298 witnesses, 290 documents and 45 material objects. Investigation revealed that the NEET UG 2024 question paper was stolen from the control room of OASIS School, Hazaribagh on the morning of 5 May 2024, when the trunk reached the school at 8 am from the bank wallet.

CBI made these people accused in the charge sheet

In the charge sheet, CBI has named Raj Kumar Singh alias Raju Singh, Surendra Kumar Sharma alias Moi, Rakesh Ranjan alias Rocky, Shashikant Paswan alias Shashi alias Pasu, Abhinas Kumar alias Bunty, Karan Jain, Kumar Sanu, Rahul Anand, Chandan Singh, Surbhi Kumari, Deependra Sharma, Kumar Mangalam Vishnoi, Raunak Raj, Sandeep Kumar, Amit Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Ranjit Kumar Biura alias Pintu, Amit Prasad Maharana alias Mannu, Dheeran Kumar Panda, Sushant Mohanty and Pankaj Kumar alias Aditya have been made accused.

What is the CBI investigation till now in NEET paper leak case?

Accused Pankaj Kumar’s principal Ahsan Ul Haq and vice principal Imtiaz had hatched a conspiracy and got him entered into the control room. Pankaj Kumar tampered the hinge of the trunk which contained NEET papers and took out a paper, took its photograph and put the paper back and came out of the control room.

Pankaj had used a modern tool to open the trunk, which was recovered by the CBI from Pankaj Kumar’s house. After leaving the school, Pankaj gave the photo of the paper to his friend Surendra who was staying at Raj Guest House in Hazari Bagh.

Took out the paper and delivered it to these solvers

The stolen paper was printed at Raj Guest House and given to a group of solvers named Vijkarna Jain, Kumar Sanu, Rahul Anand, Chandan Singh, Surabhi Kumari, Deependra Sharma, Raunak Raj, Sandeep Kumar, Amit Kumar.

These are all MBBS students who had secured seats on merit in the last few years. All these students were arrested. These students solved the paper together. Botany, zoology, then chemistry and finally physics paper was solved.

The solved papers were distributed to the candidates who were present in Raj Guest House. After distributing the paper in the guest house of Hazaribagh, the solved paper was scanned and digitally sent to other places where the accused received it.

After this, the gang members got a copy of the solved paper printed and gave it to the physically present candidates. Candidates who had paid in advance. Only those candidates were called to the paper distribution location. These candidates were allowed to go to their exam center after 12.15 pm but were forbidden to take a copy of the paper with them.

The accused destroyed copies of the solved paper at every location. Copies were taken back from the candidates and burnt. Camdates were not allowed to bring mobile phones to these locations. Burnt paper was found from Learn Play School and through the code word on the paper, CBI reached Patna and then Hazaribagh.

After this CBI identified the gang members and solvers gang. CBI identified 144 students who had benefited from stolen papers from different locations. Action was taken against them and 21 phones of the main accused were seized.

So far 49 accused have been arrested, including the main conspirators and solvers. At the same time, till now three charge sheets have been filed against 40 accused and the investigation is going on continuously.
