NEET PG 2023 Postponement Supreme Court Hearing To Resume Today: There will be a hearing again today in the matter of extending the date of NEET PG exam 2023. After listening to both the sides in the last hearing, the Supreme Court of India had extended the hearing till today i.e. February 27, 2023 till Monday. The petitioners have talked about extending the date of NEET PG exam 2023 and put forward their stand that students have not got enough time to prepare for the exam. NEET PG Exam 2023 is to be held on 05 March 2023. On the other hand, the other side says that this will cause problems to lakhs of children.

Let us tell you that recently the internship cut-off date for NEET PG exam has been extended. Now the last date for internship cut-off has been extended to 11 August 2023. If the NEET exam is conducted on the scheduled date, then the process of counseling will also start from this date i.e. from 11th August. The petitioners had also made this point an issue.
What does the National Board of Examination have to say?
On this issue, the National Board of Examination says that if the exam date is extended further, it will cause inconvenience to about 2.09 lakh candidates. Almost the same number of candidates have applied for the exam. NBE also says that it is not possible to find any further date on which this exam can be conducted, so the exam date should not be extended.

In this regard, the petitioners say that the internship of the students is going on in which they work for 12 hours a day. In such a situation, they are not getting a chance to prepare for studies i.e. for the entrance of NEET PG exam. That’s why the exam date should be extended further. He also says that this issue makes a difference to about 45,000 candidates. However, only 13 candidates have come directly for this.
