Who can apply
To apply for NEET PG 2024, it is necessary that the candidate has obtained MBBS degree from a recognized medical institute. Along with this, it is necessary that the candidate has been issued a Permanent Registration Certificate from the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC). This can also be provisional.
These are the important dates
The National Medical Commission had recently issued a notice and informed that the dates of NEET PG 2024 have been changed. Earlier the exam was to be held on July 7, 2024, which was postponed and now the exam will be held on June 23, 2024. However, no changes have been made in the remaining dates. The cut-off date is still 15th August 2024 and the results will be released on 15th July 2024.
Note down important information related to the paper
- This examination is conducted once a year.
- This is a computer based test for which applications can be made only online.
- After passing this, candidates can do courses like MD, MS, PG Diploma, DNB Post MBBS.
- The examination is conducted only in English.
- Its duration is 3.5 hours and 200 questions are asked in the paper of total 800 marks.
- +4 marks are given for correct answer and -1 mark for wrong answer.
