NEET PG Result 2024 Out: The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the result of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 today. Lakhs of candidates appeared in the exam this year. NEET PG exam was conducted in 185 cities across the country. This exam was conducted on 11 August 2024. The exam was conducted in two shifts. About two lakh 38 thousand candidates had registered for the exam. According to reports, through this exam, candidates will be given admission in 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery, 992 PG Diploma and 1,338 DNB CET seats.
The cutoff percentile for NEET PG exam 2024 for General/EWS category candidates is 50th, while for SC/ST/OBC (including PWD of SC/ST/OBC) it is 40th and for UR PWD it is 45th.
Let us tell you that this exam was postponed. Also, the candidates also protested after reaching the exam center. They said that the exam center is several hundred kilometers away from their city. After which the matter went to the Supreme Court where the court rejected the petition and the exam was conducted on the scheduled date.
