NTA May Release NEET Re-Exam Result 2024 Today: The results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Re-Exam 2024 can be released today. Candidates who have given the re-exam can check the results on the official website after the declaration of the result. To do this, the address of the official website is – exams.nta.ac.in. From here not only the result can be checked but further updates can also be known. National Testing Agency i.e. NTA will probably release the result today.
The exam was conducted for so many candidates
Let us tell you that NEET UG re-test was organized for 1563 candidates. However, they were allowed to give NEET re-exam if they wanted and not if they did not want. In such a situation, only 813 out of 1563 candidates participated in the re-exam. Their results will be released again.
Why was the exam held?
Let us tell you that this year NEET UG exam was organized on 5th May across the country. About 24 lakh candidates participated in this exam. Due to time loss at about 7 centers, 1563 children were given grace marks. This created many problems and apart from many toppers from the same center, many children topped. When the controversy increased and reached the court, it was decided that the exam would be taken again for these 1563 children.
This exam was conducted on 23rd June and its results can be declared now. Those candidates who did not want to appear in the exam had the option of continuing with their old score by giving up the grace marks and keeping the remaining marks.
Now it’s time for counseling
Amidst the questions raised on NEET UG 2024 and the petition filed in the Supreme Court to cancel the exam, counseling is to start from July 8. So far there has been no change in this schedule. It is expected that after the results of the re-test are out, counseling will start as per the schedule. Also know that the counseling for 15 percent All India Quota seats is organized by the Medical Counseling Committee.
