There is a lot of commotion regarding the NEET UG exam. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court today postponed the hearing of the exam. Now the next hearing in the case will be on July 18. The court has declared 54 candidates ineligible to appear in the exam for 3 years.
However, the court can also consider the affidavit filed by the government. But if reports are to be believed, it is not possible to deny that there was any irregularity in the examination. In such a situation, the Supreme Court can give its verdict keeping in mind the interests of the 24 lakh candidates who appeared in the examination.
If the exam is cancelled…
If the court decides to cancel the exam, then 24 lakh candidates will have to appear for the exam again. The exam date will be released again and all the work from admit card to exam schedule will be done again. Students will have to reach the examination centers once again to take the exam.
If the exam is not cancelled…
If the Supreme Court does not cancel the exam, the counseling process will be carried forward and candidates will have the opportunity to choose the institute. However, it would be premature to say what decision the Supreme Court may give.
