As soon as the new criminal law rules came into force, a policeman in Bihar lodged an FIR under the new law. This FIR was lodged by Munna Kumar, a police sub-inspector posted at the railway station. He registered a case against both the miscreants. It is alleged that both were planning to steal the belongings of passengers at Gaya railway station. Both started running as soon as they saw the police. After this, Sub-Inspector Munna Kumar took both of them into custody with the help of a constable. During interrogation, both of them confessed their crime.
Seeing the police force, two people suddenly started running away
After this, SI Munna Kumar lodged an FIR in the Railway police station. This FIR has been lodged under the new law. An FIR has been registered against both the miscreants under Section 173 BNSS. In the FIR lodged, SI Munna Kumar said that on Monday I was going from the platform to the police station at 7:45 am along with constables Ranjeet Kumar and Umesh Kumar under surveillance of criminals. During this, when I reached near the RMS office of Gaya Railway Station, I saw that on seeing us the police force, both of them suddenly started running. On suspecting something, with the help of our force, we surrounded and caught both the persons.
Stolen mobiles recovered from both of them
During interrogation, both of them started changing their names. After this, they were identified after strict interrogation. Both were identified as Rajesh Kumar (27) and Mohit Kumar (19). Both told that together we were planning to steal bags, mobiles and other belongings of the passengers coming and going on the platform. Not only that, they also stole mobiles of some passengers. Five smart phones were recovered from these two. Two mobiles were recovered from Mohit’s pant pocket. On interrogation, both of them told that all the mobiles were stolen. Rajesh Paswan told that we have been to jail many times before from Railway Police Station Gaya. The Sub Inspector demanded strict action against these two.
