Bharatpur. For the new year (New year 2023), people have started preparations for the celebration. New Year is celebrated in different ways in different places. In Rajasthan’s Bharatpur, not only in the market to welcome the new year, sweets have also started being made in every house. In view of the new year and winter season, sweets like Kutima Gajak, Gajar Paag, Gajar Halwa, Gond Laddu, Dry Moong Halwa, Sesame Laddu are being made in Bharatpur, which are also liked by tourists coming from outside. Gajar Halwa / Paag… To make Gajar Paag, carrots are first grated. Grated pieces of carrots are boiled with milk in a pan. When the milk dries well in the carrot, ghee is added to it and it is fried for four to five minutes. Then sugar and mawa are added to it and mixed. After this dry fruits are added. Halwa is ready and barfi is made from this mix for Paag.

Gond laddoos.. This sweet, which is very beneficial for health in winter, is made in many homes in Rajasthan. These laddoos are made by preparing a mixture of gum, wheat flour, jaggery, dry fruits and ghee. According to the information, they keep the body warm as well as maintain energy. However, they should be consumed only in the right quantity and on proper consultation.

Dry Moong Halwa.. What to say if you get hot moong dal halwa in winter. In winter, the taste of moong dal halwa filled with dry fruits attracts people towards it. To make moong dal halwa, first of all moong dal is washed and soaked for 4-5 hours. After this, dryfruits are mixed with ghee, milk, almonds, mawa.

Kutaima Gajak… Most liked sweet in winters. Different types of Gajak are available in the country and region. Kutima Gajak is most liked in Bharatpur. To make this Gajak, a dough is made by mixing sesame and jaggery and is beaten about 35 to 40 times with a hammer.

Sesame laddoos.. Every item made of sesame works as a panacea to keep the body warm in winter. Til Laddu is also called Til Kuta. These laddoos are very easy to make and look very tasty to eat. First of all sesame seeds are roasted and laddoos are made by heating jaggery and mixing it in roasted sesame seeds.
