The organization’s mathematics got stuck after BJP stalwarts joined the government. Now a lot seems to be stuck in the names of the vacant seats of the Legislative Council. Due to many things stuck together, there is deep silence at this time and it is being said that this is the peace before the earthquake.
Who will go to Parliament, who to Council…some to retire!
The way Sushil Kumar Modi, a veteran of Bihar BJP and who has long experience as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, was sidelined from the Rajya Sabha, after that no one in the party is refraining from saying anything. This silence is deep and its fear is even deeper. Because, Lok Sabha elections are ahead. BJP’s National Council meeting was held on this name, but even now the party leaders are not seen exerting their strength in the area. Why? Three issues come to the fore in answer to this question, but before that comes the seat distribution among the parties of the National Democratic Alliance. If this seat sharing had taken place, then those running for BJP quota seats would have been relieved to some extent. At present, it seems difficult to decide a new face for the post of State President and that is why the issue of announcement of names for the seats of Bihar Legislative Council is also stuck.
All three names of Legislative Council are stuck in doubt
The notification for Lok Sabha elections has not been released yet, but after Rajya Sabha, now the election dates for 11 seats of Bihar Legislative Council have come. March 11 is the last date for nomination and three big faces of BJP are waiting to know what will happen to them? The biggest name among these is that of former Union Minister and BJP national spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain. He was in national politics, but then due to poor performance, he became active in state politics through the Legislative Council. When he took over as the Industries Minister in the government formed after the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, he remained in the news due to his work. He was in national politics and this time he definitely has a claim on the Bhagalpur Lok Sabha seat. At present, since he is a member of the Legislative Council and the time has come for his membership to end, the big question is whether he will get the Lok Sabha ticket or will he get another chance in the Legislative Council itself? The second popular name is that of former state health minister and former Bihar BJP president Mangal Pandey. If his name had appeared in the cabinet expansion, it would have been certain that he would be sent back to the Legislative Council. But, he is stuck in doubt on this name. Another name is that of Dr. Sanjay Paswan, who was a Union Minister from BJP. He is a member of the Legislative Council, but his term is about to end. His son Guru Prakash Paswan has become the national spokesperson of BJP and is active in the organization. In such a situation, it is possible for Dr. Sanjay Paswan that BJP may think something else.
Cabinet and seat sharing will be clean
Sunil Kumar Sinha, President of Chanakya Institute of Political Rights and Research, says – “If the cabinet expansion takes place in Bihar immediately, then it will be clear what is going to happen with Shahnawaz Hussain or Mangal Pandey. Along with this, there will be seat sharing among the NDA parties. Even if the announcement is made, it will be confirmed whether Hussain’s claim on the Bhagalpur seat is confirmed or the announcement of JDU’s Narendra Kumar Neeraj alias Gopal Mandal. After seat sharing, the names of the candidates running for the seats in the BJP account will also be known to some extent. It will be accepted for sure. After these two things, it will come to light whether there is peace or earthquake inside BJP! Before coming with JDU, many BJP leaders were preparing to go to Parliament, but now half of them are equally frustrated. That’s why “Everyone is waiting for the time.”
