Pakistan-backed Terror Conspiracy Case: On Saturday, raids were conducted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) at six places in Jammu in connection with a Pakistan-backed conspiracy to spread terror. During this period, NIA has seized many objectionable materials including digital devices and documents.
Giving information in its statement, the agency said that in the case related to the conspiracy of banned terrorist organizations, raids and searches were conducted by NIA teams in Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar districts of Jammu province. These terrorist organizations were planning to carry out violent attacks in Jammu and Kashmir with sticky bombs, IEDs and small arms.
Incriminating documents seized
In this raid, NIA has seized incriminating data and documents from hybrid terrorists, overground workers (OGWs), sympathizers, cadres associated with associates of banned terrorist organizations. This includes Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM), Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM), Al-Badr, Al-Qaeda etc. The agency is investigating these devices to expose this conspiracy.
NIA raids to end terrorist network
NIA has suo motu taken over the case on June 21, 2022 to dismantle the terrorist networks operated by these organizations as well as newly launched organizations like The Resistance Front (TRF), United Liberation Front Jammu & Kashmir (ULFJ&K). Took cognizance. The purpose of this action taken by the agency was to eliminate the terrorist network from Jammu, so that peace can be maintained here. Apart from this, the youth here should not be able to join these terrorist organizations.
