Do this work on the day of Nirjala Ekadashi
- On the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, one should wake up early in the morning, take bath and meditate and chant the mantra ‘Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay’ of Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu’s blessings are showered by chanting this mantra. On the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, a coconut and some almonds should be offered to Lord Vishnu. It is believed that by doing this all the obstacles in the work are removed.
- Tulsi is very dear to Lord Vishnu. Some remedies of Tulsi must be done on the day of Nirjala Ekadashi. On this day in the evening, a ghee lamp should be lit in front of the Tulsi plant. After this, while chanting the mantra of Lord Vishnu, circumambulate the Tulsi plant 11 times. By doing this, prosperity comes in the house and happiness and peace also prevails.
- On the day of Ekadashi fast, yellow flowers should be offered in the worship of Lord Vishnu. On this day, while offering food to Lord Vishnu, Tulsi Dal should be put in Kheer. By doing this Lord Vishnu gets pleased and fulfills all the wishes.
- According to the scriptures, Lord Vishnu resides in the Peepal tree. Offering water to the Peepal tree on the day of Nirjala Ekadashi fast gives the blessings of Lord Vishnu. There is also a belief that by offering water to Peepal on this day, one gets freedom from debt.
