Bharatiya Janata Party and Janata Dal United are now having a fierce fight on everything. Rashtriya Janata Dal is seen supporting only JDU in the field. After opposing the Prime Minister regarding the inauguration of the new building of the Parliament, JDU has now come down to a direct fight in the Niti Aayog meeting as well. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that the people sitting in power are themselves inaugurating the new Parliament House to change the history of this country, so it does not make sense. He also termed the meeting of NITI Aayog as meaningless. Countering the same, the BJP said that Nitish Kumar is trying to escape from the eyes of PM Narendra Modi. If he had gone to the meeting, how would he have made eye contact with him.
Nitish Kumar said – there is no point in building a new building separately
Talking to the media in Patna on Saturday morning, CM Nitish Kumar has fiercely targeted the Modi government. He said what was the need of the new Parliament House. If there is freedom, then from where it started, it should be further developed. There is no point in building a new building separately. How can you change history? What was the need to separate it? The old Parliament House itself should have been developed. What history will you forget? If you finish it tomorrow then how will you know about the history. You know those who are in government, they will change the whole history. Will also change the history of freedom struggle. There was no point in attending the NITI Aayog meeting today and the inauguration of the new Parliament building tomorrow.
BJP’s counterattack – Nitish Kumar is avoiding the eyes of PM Modi
Meanwhile, BJP’s more scathing statement came. Leader of Opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha said that CM Nitish Kumar should have attended the meeting but his absence would hinder the development of Bihar. If he had attended the NITI Aayog meeting, the policies necessary for the development of Bihar would have been discussed. But, Nitish Kumar’s intention is not to develop Bihar. This is the reason why you are keeping distance from the NITI Aayog meeting.
JDU’s allegation- Central government never did justice to Bihar
Here, JDU’s chief spokesperson Neeraj Kumar called it unconstitutional not to allow the cabinet member to attend the meeting even after being authorized by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He also said that the central government has never done justice to Bihar. There is always discrimination. Bihar is ahead in many respects and funds are needed to develop it further. Central government discriminates.
