Nitish Bharadwaj Personal Life: Mahabharata fame actor Nitish Bhardwaj has been in the news for some time regarding his personal life. Recently, he had accused his wife Smita Ghate of mental harassment and not allowing her to meet his daughters and had filed a complaint against her. Now Smita has issued an official statement calling Nitish’s allegations false.
Wife called Nitish’s allegations false
Smita mentioned- I am Smita Bhardwaj, wife of Nitish Bhardwaj. To protect the minor daughters, I felt that it has become necessary to release a statement now. Releasing a public statement is also important because my husband Nitish is continuously giving false statements and making false allegations. Besides, they are also giving wrong statements in the media. As far as the alleged kidnapping of my own daughters is concerned, false and malicious allegations are being made to tarnish my image.
He further said- In fact, Nitish himself had said in the family court that he had talked to his daughters on the same landline number. His claim that he does not know the phone number is false. His statement also said that if Nitish was so concerned about his daughters, he could have contacted my legal representative, mutual relatives or family members and talked to them, but he chose this legal route.

Let us tell you that Nitish had filed a complaint against his wife Smita. Accusing Smita, he had said that Smita does not allow him to meet nor talk to his daughters Devyani and Shivranjani. They keep changing their schools. This is affecting Nitish’s mental condition.
Nitish’s wife Smita is IAS. Nitish and Smita were married in 2009. In 2019, he had filed for divorce in the family court. His case is still pending.
