Ingredients to make Rava Uttapam
Rava (semolina) – 1 cup
Tomato chopped – 1
Cabbage chopped – 1/2 cup
Chopped capsicum – 1/4 cup
Curd – 3/4 cup
Green chili – 1
Green coriander – 2-3 tbsp
Ginger grated – 1 tsp
Baking soda – as needed
Rai – 1/4 tsp
Oil – 2-3 tbsp
salt – as per taste
How to make Rava Uttapam
Rava Uttapam is a great food dish for breakfast. To make this, first put rava (semolina) in a vessel. After this add curd and mix both the things well. Now add a little water to the Rava-curd mixture and prepare a batter like pakodas. Now add grated ginger, finely chopped green chillies, green coriander and salt as per taste to the mixture and whisk it well. Then cover the batter and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
In 15 minutes the batter will puff up well, after that finely chop cabbage, tomato, capsicum and mix together and keep it separately in a vessel. Now take rava batter and add a little baking soda to it and mix slowly. If the solution seems too thick, then you can mix some water too. Take a nonstick pan and heat it on medium heat. After the tawa is hot, put some oil on it and spread it well after adding some mustard seeds.

Now take rava batter in a bowl and pour it on the griddle and spread it. Keep in mind that the uttapam has to be kept a little thick. After roasting for some time, spread the chopped vegetables over the uttapam and add some green coriander. Flip the uttapam after some time and roast it on the other side by applying oil. Roast the uttapam until it turns golden and becomes slightly crispy. After this take it off in a plate. Similarly prepare Tasty Rava Uttapam for breakfast with all the batter.
