Now only the remake of “Andhadhun” is left in Khadi Boli? – News18 Hindi

Hemant M Rao should be blamed. Kannada film director Hemanth. At his behest, director Sriram Raghavan saw the French film “Le Corder” i.e. piano tuner, based on the story of a blind piano player. From here the idea came to his mind to make a murder, crime, suspense thriller film on the life of a blind pianist and Andhadhun was born. He also did a little artistry in the name. Blind and tune mixed and made a film with blinding speed. First the critics liked it, then the audience and then there was a competition that in which language it could be remade and used. Its Malayalam version has been released on 7 September 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.

Remaking is easy as well as difficult. Easy because the script of the film is ready. Apart from this, the shooting script is also prepared. The scale of acting is also fixed, that means the film has to be made as it is. Difficult because the original film is successful. Many people have seen it and naturally comparisons will be made. There is also a kind of risk in this that if anything is missed, or if there is work to change the environment of the story, then it is possible that the audience may reject it outright. “Bhramam” does not seem to make any such mistake. Frame by frame the film has been kept as it is. The special thing in this is that this film still looks new because its main actors Prithviraj, Rashi Khanna or Mamta Mohandas are experienced actors in their own right.

His acting shows his own identity and hence despite being a remake, it is a pleasure to watch this film. Hemant Rao, Sriram Raghavan, Arijit Biswas (writer and director of Bengali films), Yogesh Chandekar have maintained tremendous suspense in the story of Andhadhun. The magic wand of Sriram Raghavan is in the hands of writer and editor Pooja Laddha Surti. Pooja has either written or edited each of Shriram’s films. The wonder of Pooja’s pen can be clearly seen in every scene of Andhadhun. Bhram has not made the mistake of changing it at all.

Prithviraj Sukumaran has worked in about 125 films, has won the National Award and is counted among the most successful actors in Malayalam films. Prithviraj, rich in simple, easygoing, gentle personality, has performed well in the role of a clever piano player in Bhrammam. In many scenes, he has looked better than Ayushmann Khurrana. Prithviraj’s acting is top class. Rashi Khanna is in the role of his girlfriend. Delhi’s Rashi wanted to become an IAS. While working in an advertising firm, she worked in a few advertising films and then gradually made her way to the big screen. Rashi is not only beautiful, he is also successful and he has done a good job in this film. Radhika Apte’s role in Andhadhun was good but she acts the same in every role. Rashi has won in this case.

Two other prominent roles are played by Unni Mukundan as Circle Inspector Dinesh Prabhakaran and his lover, Mamta Mohandas, the original heroine of the film, who plays Tabu. Although Mamta is a capable and talented actress, she has not been able to even come close to the role played by Tabu in the Hindi version. Other actors are seen playing their roles well. One of the strong points of the film is the music of the film. Jacques Bejoy has created a stir in the music world of Malayalam cinema. For the last few years, Jacques’ music is behind the music of every successful and off-beat film. The song named Munthiripuvo is well composed.

In most of the suspense films, many stories run together but they get separated from any one original story. Bhramam or Andhadhun is characterized by an original story and a few small sub-stories which all seem like offshoots of the original story. The film’s cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran is the director of the film. This is the second film directed by him. Ravi has won many awards for cinematography. Dil Chahta Hai, Yuva, Student of the Year, Virasat, Saawariya and many more films are there in which the magic of Ravi’s camera work has worked. The film’s editor is his friend, Sreekar Prasad, who has edited more than 100 films so far, from National Award to Kerala State Film Awards winner, Sreekar is maintaining the pace of this film.

Illusion must be seen. It has been 3 years since the release of Andhadhun. Remakes of this story based on the French film are being made. The film has been released in Telugu as Maestro. The language of Bhrammam is Malayalam. Tamil remake is also coming soon. It seems like this film should be dubbed and released in every language.
