Get the lift registered in this way
If someone wants to register the lift. So for that, you have to go to ADM Finance and Revenue Office at Collectorate. Registration can be done there without any fees. However, for registration, details like lift capacity including documents log book in the department will have to give all this information. Explain that time has been given till 26 March to register the lift. After this, action will be taken under the rules fixed by the district administration. Registration will have to be done again by paying fine.

A fine will be paid later
Please tell if no one has registered the lift till 1 April. Then for 7 days or less, you will have to pay a late fee at Rs 100 per day. After 7 days and for 15 days, a late fee will have to be paid by Rs 200 per day. From 15 days to 30 days, 500 rupees per day will have to be paid and if not registered for 30 days, then you will have to pay late fees at Rs 10,000 per day.

What is the lift act?
The Lift Act has been implemented in local development bodies, authority. Under this, registration of the lift company is necessary. If registration is not done then a fine will be imposed. Along with this, action will also be taken. In case of any kind of accident in the lift, the owner of the building will have to inform the District Magistrate and the concerned authority and the local police station within 24 hours.
