What was the rule before
Last year According to the information given in the Lok Sabha on a question in March, the age of admission in the first class is different in different states of the country. During that time it was told that there are 14 states and union territories of the country, where children were allowed to take admission in the first class before the age of 6 years. Gujarat, Telangana, Ladakh, Assam and Puducherry are the states and union territories where 5-year-old children were also admitted in the first class.
Where admission is done after 5 years
In the information given in the Lok Sabha itself, it was told that in states like Rajasthan, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Goa, Jharkhand and Kerala, the minimum age of children to take admission in class 1 is more than 5 years. Should be On March 28, 2022, when the Ministry of Education presented its report in the Lok Sabha, it said that the measurement of the net enrollment ratio in different states was being affected due to non-adherence to the age of admission in the first class as per the new National Education Policy.
The magic box has been launched recently
Different changes and new works are being done under the new education policy. In this sequence, now a new study material has been released for the children. Which was named ‘Magic Box’. This ‘magic box’ was launched by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. However, at present the ‘Magic Box’ is for foundation level children. This magical box will prove to be helpful in increasing the interest and inclination towards studies in the children of elementary level. Toys, puppets, interesting stories in mother tongue will be made available for children in this box. Apart from this, education based on sports, painting, dance and music will also be included in the magical box.
