UPI: With the advent of digital facilities in India, people now use UPI payments a lot. From small shops to big malls, people easily exchange money through UPI payments. In such a situation, the National Payment Corporation (NPCI) keeps making some changes in UPI Payment. This time again a new change has been made in UPI payment. After this new change, anyone can make payment even without a bank account. However, this facility is going to be available to only a few people. Let’s know what these changes are.
What changed?
Actually, there are many reasons for changes in UPI but the biggest reason is that it can reach more and more people. That is why this new change has been brought now. Now those who do not have a bank account will also get the facility of UPI. Let us tell you that to use UPI, it is mandatory to have a bank account and a mobile number linked to Aadhaar. But now this new facility is being brought for those without a bank account.
Payment is done with the help of many apps
Let us tell you that UPI payment is done with the help of many different apps. Now a person without a bank account will be able to make UPI payment with any member of his family. This is called ‘Delegated Payment System’. For example, if any member of the family has a bank account, then any other user can also use it easily. The special thing about this is that the user can use his active UPI from his own mobile.
Facility will be available on savings account
For your information, let us tell you that this facility will be given only to savings account holders. Customers with credit card or loan amount will not be given the benefit of this facility. The one who has the main account in this can control it completely. He can allow anyone to make payment. After getting permission, users can make UPI payment on their own mobile. At the same time, NPCI believes that after providing this facility, there can be a jump in UPI payment.
