Sisanda Magala Injury: Before the start of the ODI World Cup, the trend of injured players being out of this mega event continues. After the exclusion of fast bowler Enrique Norkhia, now the second blow has been dealt in the form of Sisanda Magala who has been out of the World Cup team due to a knee injury.

Sisanda Magala has so far played 8 ODI matches for the South African team and in this he has taken 14 wickets at an average of 25.4. Now the African team has time till September 28 to announce the names of replacements for these two players.

South Africa will play its first match against Sri Lanka on October 7.
