The couple came to Henan province in search of work, where they did not get work but the husband’s gaming addiction reached its peak. Her husband used to play games by taking money from Lao. One day when the husband asked Lao for 1 lakh 17 thousand rupees to play games, she refused. Lao did not expect what happened after this.
Beat his wife and made her blind
The husband started punching Lao recklessly and finally hit her with a frying pan. During this time, Lao’s mother-in-law was on the phone, who kept provoking her son further. Meanwhile, Lao’s cousin reached there and took her to the hospital. Here Lao remained in a coma in the ICU for 3 months. When she woke up, it was found that Lao had lost her eyesight permanently. When Lao’s parents came to know about this, they filed a case against her in-laws. On August 30, the court sentenced Lao’s husband to 11 years of imprisonment and ordered him to pay compensation of Rs 78 lakh. However, Lao’s parents have appealed to the higher court and demanded life imprisonment for the husband. This matter is currently being discussed a lot on social media.
